The iTank Experience: Build Quality, Design, and Performance
First impressions matter, and the iTank’s build quality and finish didn’t disappoint. Sporting an 8ml bubble glass tank, it’s a sight to behold compared to your average tank.

Disassembling the iTank for cleaning is a breeze, with all parts easily coming apart. The push-slide cap filling method features a “Vaporesso” etching to indicate where to push, revealing a silicone-bung-covered filling port to prevent leaks.
However, using 100ml bottles to fill the tank can be a bit tricky due to the drip tip’s placement. Removing the drip tip solves this issue, but we think a quarter-turn top cap would’ve been more convenient.
Speaking of the drip tip, it’s a 510 base with an 810 wide bore at the top. Fitted without O-rings, it seems a bit flimsy, and we would’ve preferred a standard 810 drip tip.
GTi Coils: Powering the Vaporesso iTank Experience
The iTank comes with two GTi coils: a 0.2ohm (60-75W) and a 0.4ohm (50-60W). Push-fit coils ensure easy installation, and Vaporesso’s unique coil design claims to provide smoother airflow and better flavor.
After testing both coils, we found that the 0.2ohm coil delivered fantastic flavor at around 68-70W, with an open and airy vape experience. The 0.4ohm coil, on the other hand, provided a more restrictive, slightly warmer vape with great flavor, especially when the airflow was slightly closed. Our sweet spot was 55W.
Pros and Cons: Weighing the iTank’s Strengths and Weaknesses
Pros:
β’ Well-built and high-quality
β’ Large capacity (non-TPD)
β’ Good airflow
β’ Impressive coil life
β’ Great flavor
β’ Easy to clean
Cons:
β’ Filling with large bottles can be tricky
β’ Slide port could open further
β’ Standard 810 drip tip would be better
Final Thoughts: Is the Vaporesso iTank Worth It?
Vaporesso has hit it out of the park with the iTank, a fantastic sub-ohm tank with an impressive capacity, great flavor, and excellent coil life. The 0.2ohm coil provides slightly better flavor, but the 0.4ohm coil offers a more restrictive draw, which some might prefer.
The main issue is filling the tank with large bottles, but removing the drip tip does the trick. With some minor adjustments, such as the slide port opening further or the use of a standard top cap filling method, this tank would be nearly perfect.
If you’re looking for a sub-ohm tank with customizable airflow, incredible flavor, and the ability to adapt to your vaping preferences, the Vaporesso iTank should definitely be on your radar.
Once again, a massive thank you to Vaporesso for giving the vapemallow Squad the opportunity to test this product and share our thoughts. Happy vaping, Squad!
